http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/programmes/breakfast/4585353.stm

We love barbequed food, and almost at any point of our life, we eat barbequed food. But how healthy are barbequed foods?

Incorrect handling and cooking of bbq food can cause food poisoning to people.

Therefore, there is a safety guideline to follow when bbq-ing. For example, using charcoal instead of methylated spirits, petrol or lighter fuel when making a fire; overcooking meat may produce harmful chemicals, undercooking would also allow bacteria to survive in the meat and etc.

Barbequeing affects the air environment and cause cancer too, so take precaution when eating barbeque food.
